PGA Championship 2024: Prize Purse Increase Expected

The winner of the 2023 PGA Championship received $2.7 million, while the runner-up received $1.62 million. The third-place finisher received $1.08 million, and the fourth-place finisher received $756,000. The top 10 finishers all received at least $400,000, and the top 25 finishers all received at least $200,000.
If the PGA of America increases the prize purse for the 2024 PGA Championship, it would be the third-highest payday a winner could receive so far in 2024. The top prize at the Masters Tournament is $2.7 million, and the top prize at the U.S. Open is $3.15 million.
